Gilbert Kennedy, 2nd Earl of Cassilis (b. bef. 1500, d. between 24 & 30 August 1527) was a Scottish peer, the son of David Kennedy, 1st Earl of Cassilis.
He married Lady Isabel Campbell, daughter of Archibald Campbell, 2nd Earl of Argyll. They had eleven children. He succeeded to the titles of 4th Lord Kennedy and 2nd Earl of Cassillis on 9 September 1513.
In 1525 he was tried for the murder of Martin Kennedy of Lochland, but was acquitted.
In December 1526 he was a prisoner in the hands of the Douglas faction, after having joined the unsuccessful attempt of the Earl of Arran to rescue the young King James V.
